Surah Al-Inshiqaq, ayah 19 · Ayah train · train 19 of 24

A caterpillar can't stay a caterpillar forever. What does that teach us?

Each engine carries an ayah from Surah Al-Inshiqaq. Cut them out and couple the carriages behind them.

Cut along the dashed lines. If a word needs the same carriage twice, make a second copy.

About ten minutes. There is no score: a wrong try is just part of the ride.
Lay the train out on the floor or table. Count the carriages together and ask: A caterpillar can't stay a caterpillar forever. What does that teach us?
Mix up the carriages. Your child couples them behind the right engine, starting next to the engine.
Open the mushaf at Surah Al-Inshiqaq and find each word in its ayah. Read the meaning of the ayah together.
Swap roles: your child is the conductor and shows you a card. You read it, and they check you. Then stamp the ticket.
