Up to 4 letters, with sukun, long vowels and tanwin. 36 words, 6 trains.

Every word of one ayah is a carriage, in mushaf spelling. 42 ayat of 2 to 8 words.
Some words never become carriages: a word whose mushaf spelling hides a long vowel (it would be read short), and the Name of Allah, which is read as a whole word. They still ride in the Ayah trains, in mushaf spelling.
